One of the peewee players lost their glasses last night at St Matt’s field. If anyone happened to pick them up please let me know. Thanks!
Great week one!
I am overjoyed with pride and admiration of the wonderful performances that every team in our club showcased this weekend. Watching our players work and play together for success is what we strive to accomplish as a Club.
The Tyke team impressed me with their understanding of the game and their pure positivity both on and off the field. These brave 7,8 and 9 year olds are presenting a very bright future for the club and I look forward to watching them grow.
The Mosquito and Peewee teams both succeeded in their matches in the high impact manner that we have come to expect from these levels. They continue to prove that the Bengals organisation is committed to a technical development, no matter what each player skill level is, ensuring success through hard work in the best coaching environment possible.
The Raftsmen achieved their first franchise win and are now poised to really make an impact in the QMFL. Watching these players strengthen their team dynamic and bond through success will definitely cult them tho that next level of competitiveness.
I spent all day Saturday the day on the field, admiring the convergence of our volunteers, coaches and the community. I want to thank everyone for giving everything that they can to ensure our players have the best football experience possible.
Let’s now carry the ball with ferocity through the rest of the season and I look forward to every yard earned and every Bengal smile flashed.
A HUGE thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who gave their time and effort today at the Myers Orleans BBQ and car wash! We really appreciate everything that you do.
This Saturday, July 21st, we are holding our first ever Car Wash & BBQ at Myers Orléans Chev Buick GMC on St-Joseph Boulevard! We will be there from 11:00AM to 3:00PM and would love to have players and parents volunteer to help us out even if it’s just for one hour! We will require volunteers for the following roles:
- Loading up items for the BBQ at the Clubhouse @ 10:30 am
- Setting up at Myers @ 10:45 am
- Helping with the BBQ (Cook, Cashier and Runner)
- Car Washers
- Tearing down at Myers @ 3:00 pm
- Unloading items at the Clubhouse @ 3:15pm
For any player who is able to help, please feel free to wear your practice jersey if you have one although this is not mandatory. If you can’t volunteer, please make sure to share the event on our Facebook page with your friends and family so that we can make sure that this is a huge success!!!
See you all on Saturday!
